The Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC), a statutory body established to promote sport in Botswana and participation of sport outside the country invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position Accountant Creditors based in Gaborone.
 
Main Purpose of The Job:
Reporting directly to the Director Corporate Services the incumbent will be responsible for implementation of financial management and accounting systems and procedures to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions, and the timely maintenance and preparation of accounts and financial statements in accordance with internationally accepted, accounting standards and conventions.
 
 
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce and/or a full   ACCA/CIMA
· Must have BICA membership
· Minimum 5 years in accounting field of which 2 should be supervisory level, experience with ACCPAC and VIP Payroll.
 
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate NSAs grants management.
· Accounting and financial policy and procedures implementation.
· Accounting transactions processing and monitoring.
· Payment of creditors
· Supervision of NSA Accounts Assistants.

· Sound background in accounting and finance.
